After the incredible build-up and painstaking preparations for the YouTube broadcast, the gig the following day at the Citadel came as the complete opposite.
There was a strong sense of what some would call ‘spontaneous decision making’ others perhaps would describe it as ‘sheer chaos’. The setlist reached ‘version 6’ by showtime and throughout the show, there were diversions from the plan into totally unexpected areas.
Everyone was clinging on for dear life, giggling and enjoying the ride. It was a glorious tension release and a belter of a night.
